MOONCAKE 2025
MOII is an Asian-inspired artisanal pastry brand based in Berlin. Started in 2022, we have been
producing mooncakes in Germany for more than 3 years .
MOII's specially designed mooncakes are inspired by the tea culture of the Song Dynasty, and
we have redesigned their appearance and flavour to create modern mooncakes that are both
traditional and colourful.
We use low-calorie white bean paste as the main ingredient, sweetened with alginose, crafted by
hand using premium local ingredients, to create a unique mooncake that embraces Asian
culture!

When Art Meets Tradition
Created in collaboration with Berlin-based artist Du Hao (Weißensee Academy of Art), this exclusive woodcut design is inspired by the poetic vision of Autumn Courtyard, Drinking the Moon. It reflects the harmony of nature, art, and culture, echoing the spirit of Mid-Autumn.

At Moii Café, our mission is to bring the beauty of traditional Chinese mooncakes to Europe, blending Eastern artistry with Western aesthetics. Each handcrafted piece is not only a dessert, but also a cultural ritual — celebrating togetherness, poetry, and the joy of sharing under the same moon.
HANDMADE CROCHET DOLLS
All of our products are handmade, so each one takes a lot of time to develop and make, and they are all unique! Typically, a handmade crochet piece takes between 5 and 48 hours, a ceramic piece takes around 1 week, and each piece varies depending on the complexity, or even longer!

We use only whipped cream and super soft chiffon for the birthday cake, it is light and not greasy. Besides, every finalised cake is My art work!
Due to the large number of messages we receive daily, we will only reply to you if we have the capacity to make your requested cakes.
This will be much better if you enquire directly at the shop
Please book at least two weeks in advance as a general rule, on special occasions (e.g. Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, etc.) it is usually better to book even further in advance.

Bloody good coffee and special drinks
We have strong connection with local brands in Berlin, using seriously roasted coffee beans from 19grams and fresh fruits from Germany, and we use only the best tea from our homeland, China.
